By accessing or using Saltare ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Saltare is a chat-first unified workspace platform that provides team collaboration, task management, document editing, database management, and AI agent capabilities. The Service includes access to AI-powered features that consume "AI credits" as described in your plan.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each workspace is a separate billing entity. The workspace owner is responsible for all activity and charges within the workspace.
Free (Starter) plans are provided at no cost with limited features. Paid plans are billed per seat per month. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Prices are in US Dollars. You may upgrade at any time; the new plan takes effect immediately. If you downgrade or cancel, you will retain access to your current plan features for a 30-day grace period.
AI credits are allocated monthly and do not roll over between billing periods. Additional credit packs may be purchased as one-time payments.
We may offer free trials of paid plans. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the trial period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will have a 30-day grace period to export your data and adjust to the Starter plan limits. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
You agree not to use the Service, including its AI agent features, to create, solicit, or distribute any of the following:
You further agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (b) exceed rate limits or abuse the API; (c) resell access to the Service without authorization. AI interactions are subject to automated content screening as described in Section 10.
You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service, including messages, documents, tasks, and database records. We do not claim ownership of your content. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.
Content generated by AI agents within the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before acting on it.
When you interact with AI agents, your messages are processed by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic) to generate responses. A hashed, non-identifying user identifier is sent with each request to support abuse prevention. Your messages may be subject to the AI provider's usage policies in addition to these terms.
All messages sent to AI agents are automatically screened for prohibited content using keyword-based filters and AI-based moderation. Flagged content may be logged and reviewed by our team to ensure compliance with these terms.
We employ automated content screening systems to detect prohibited content in AI interactions. These systems may block requests that violate the acceptable use policy outlined in Section 7.
Repeated violations are subject to progressive enforcement:
Flagged content is reviewed by our team. If you believe a restriction was applied in error, you may contact us at [email protected] to request a review. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Service. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime when possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saltare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
